ROUTE 311 CLOSURE UPDATE - Received from the NYSDOT through the PC Bureau of Emergency Svcs:

Replacing critical infrastructure and ensuring the safety of the traveling public is of the utmost importance and the project to replace the culvert along STATE ROUTE 311 between the I-84 WB ramps and LUDINGTONVILLE RD continues.

Due to unforeseen production circumstances, material delivery issues occurred recently. DOT quickly initiated alternative procurement and received the new material on site this week. Installation has begun. Due to the quick responses by our personnel, we currently anticipate only a slight delay in the roadway opening. We now anticipate having the road reopened by November 11, 2024.

Motorists are requested to utilize local signed detours. As with all work zones and detours, please slow down and pay attention to all signage and roadway instructions, including flaggers.

As we move forward with this project, we will keep local officials and stakeholders up to date via regular email updates to keep constituents informed.
